Welcome to our educational website!  The town of Newfane is located in southeast Vermont.  Our Conservation Commission has been in existence since 1998.  Starting in 2000, we created a trail system in our 162 acre town forest (see Maps on this website).   Current Commissioners are Sylvia Kinney (Chairman), Bruce Hesselbach, Greg Record, and Thanice Petrak.  Meetings are generally held at the Town Office at 7 PM on the second Thursday of each month.  The Public is welcome!
